Veterans Legacy Vault provides users with the ability to permanently delete their account and associated data.

DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE VLV APP

1. Sign in to your Veterans Legacy Vault account.

2. Open Account & Privacy.

3. Select Delete Account.

4. Review the deletion warning and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

WHAT IS DELETED

When account deletion is completed, Veterans Legacy Vault deletes the user's account and associated VLV data maintained by us, including applicable Vault records and uploaded files, subject to information that may need to be retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.

ACCOUNT DELETION FROM THE WEB

 If you cannot access the Veterans Legacy Vault app, you may request permanent deletion of your account and associated data directly through this website. Use the Support / Contact form and select or enter “Account Deletion Request.” You do not need to reinstall or access the app to submit a deletion request. 

In your message:

• Enter the email address associated with your Veterans Legacy Vault account.

• Select or enter “Account Deletion Request” as the reason for contacting support.

• Do not send your password or other sensitive Vault information.

We may need to verify that you are the account owner before processing a deletion request.
