Effective Date: August 31, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Veterans Legacy Vault (“VLV”), including the Veterans Legacy Vault mobile application, website, and related services operated by Veteran Advocacy Group LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Veterans Legacy Vault, you agree to these Terms.
1. PURPOSE OF VETERANS LEGACY VAULT
Veterans Legacy Vault is an organizational and information-storage service designed to help veterans organize personal, military, medical, financial, family, property, benefit, document, and legacy information in one location.
VLV is an organizational tool. It is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, estate-planning, or other professional advice.
2. USER ACCOUNTS
Certain VLV features require a user account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account except where prohibited by applicable law.
You should notify Veterans Legacy Vault Support if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. USER-PROVIDED INFORMATION
Users determine what information they choose to enter, upload, organize, or store within Veterans Legacy Vault.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to enter, upload, store, or share information placed within your account.
You retain ownership of the information and content you provide to VLV. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, store, process, transmit, and display that information solely as necessary to operate and provide the VLV service.
4. TRUSTED FAMILY MEMBER ACCESS
VLV may allow users to authorize a Trusted Family Member to access certain information associated with their Vault.
You are responsible for deciding whom you authorize and should only provide access to individuals you trust.
Authorized family access does not transfer ownership of the account or its contents.
5. IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS AND INFORMATION
VLV may be used to organize copies of documents, records, instructions, financial information, medical information, benefit information, and other important materials.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, storing a document or information within VLV does not replace an original document or satisfy legal requirements concerning execution, witnessing, notarization, filing, recording, safekeeping, or delivery of legal documents.
Users should retain original documents where appropriate.
6. VA AND GOVERNMENT INFORMATION
Veterans Legacy Vault is not the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, or any other federal, state, or local government agency.
References or links to VA programs, veteran benefits, government resources, or other third-party resources are provided for organizational or informational purposes.
Eligibility for government benefits and services is determined by the applicable government agency.
7. MEDICAL AND EMERGENCY INFORMATION
VLV may allow users to organize medical and emergency information.
VLV is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
In an emergency, users should contact appropriate emergency services or qualified healthcare professionals rather than relying solely upon information stored in VLV.
8. FINANCIAL AND LEGAL INFORMATION
VLV may allow users to organize financial, insurance, investment, property, estate, and other information.
VLV does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, insurance, or estate-planning advice through the organizational features of the application.
Users should consult appropriate qualified professionals when professional advice is required.
9. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may not use Veterans Legacy Vault to:
• Violate applicable law or the rights of another person
• Gain unauthorized access to another user's account or information
• Upload malicious software or intentionally harmful content
• Interfere with the security or operation of VLV
• Attempt to circumvent security or access controls
• Use the service for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with applicable law.
10. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We work to maintain reliable access to Veterans Legacy Vault but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Maintenance, updates, internet outages, third-party infrastructure failures, device problems, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
We may modify, improve, add, remove, or update features as VLV develops.
11. BACKUPS AND IMPORTANT RECORDS
Although VLV is designed to help organize important information, users should maintain appropriate independent copies or original versions of information and documents that are critical or irreplaceable.
VLV should not be treated as the sole location for original legal documents or other irreplaceable records.
12. PRIVACY
Use of Veterans Legacy Vault is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, processed, and deleted in connection with VLV.
13. ACCOUNT DELETION
Users may request or initiate account deletion through the account/privacy controls available within the VLV application or through other deletion methods we make available.
Deletion is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Veterans Legacy Vault, including its name, branding, logos, application design, original graphics, software, text, and other proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to Veteran Advocacy Group LLC except for user-provided content and third-party materials.
Nothing in these Terms grants users ownership of VLV intellectual property.
15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
VLV may interact with or provide links to third-party services, websites, government resources, app stores, or infrastructure providers.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their independent content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Veterans Legacy Vault is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from every possible security threat.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veteran Advocacy Group LLC and Veterans Legacy Vault will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of or inability to use VLV.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
18. TERMINATION
You may stop using Veterans Legacy Vault at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of material violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, security threats, abuse of the service, or legal requirements.
19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms as Veterans Legacy Vault develops or as legal, regulatory, security, or operational requirements change.
Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Where required by applicable law, additional notice or consent will be provided.
20. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
